
He was born Jan. 9, 1943, in Biddeford, the son of Josephat and Bertha (Dansereau) Bedard. He was educated in Biddeford schools, and attended St. Louis High School.
On Aug. 14, 1965, he married Joan Dubuc at St. Joseph’s Church.
Mr. Bedard was employed for over 20 years at Warren’s Furniture Sales in Biddeford, retiring in his 50s due to ill health.
Raymond enjoyed classic cars, dancing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by: his wife, Joan Bedard of Biddeford; one son, Ronnie Bedard and his wife Lisa of Buxton; one daughter, Karen Laflamme and her husband Daniel of Dayton; and one granddaughter, Amanda Laflamme of Winter Park, Florida.
Visiting hours will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
