SANFORD — Southern Maine Health Care’s Adult Day Service Program promotes the well-being of people with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Participants enjoy different activities in a therapeutic environment designed to maximize their current abilities. For the caregiver, the program offers support and education,as well as a break from the responsibility of providing 24-hour care. The program is held from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at The Pavilion, 35 July St., Sanford. For more information, call Kathy at 490-7650.
