WELLS — On Friday, Wells High School will be hosting its annual Armed Forces Football Game.
Every year, Wells High School and the surrounding community take the opportunity of a home football game to honor military veterans and active armed service members. Friday’s game will include ceremonies with both active and retired armed service members. This week’s game is between the Wells Warriors and the Freeport Falcons.
Admission is free to any veteran or active member of the military. General admission is $3 for adults and $1 for students. Kick-off is at 7 p.m. at Wells High School, 200 Sanford Road. All veterans and active armed service members are invited to attend.
