From the Journal Tribune: “It appears that the saga of mold infestation at the Primary School will be on-going for at least one month, officials say – perhaps a month and a half or even two. Administrators are now looking for replacement classrooms, where first through third grades can conduct classes, for an undefined time period, until the school reopens.”

From the Biddeford-Saco Journal: “The Owen Davis Post, American Legion will conduct a flag burning ceremony Sunday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. at Memorial Field, Saco, officials announced last night at a regular meeting of the post. The flags will be collected from Laurel Hill Cemetery Thursday.”

From the Biddeford Daily Journal: “All arrangements were completed today for the transfer of the executive offices of the White House from Washington to Ashbury Park, N.J. tomorrow. For the first time since Mr. Wilson became president, a complete staff of secretaries, clerks, telegraphers and other attaches will accompany him on his vacation.”
