LYMAN — A Lyman man was arrested early Saturday after he allegedly fired a gunshot as his spouse and small child were leaving the home.
Maine State Police reported on social media that they took Glenn Waterman, 32, into custody. They found the handgun in the back yard.
The woman called authorities just before 8 a.m. to say she had an argument with Waterman. She was in the driveway with the child when she heard a gunshot coming from the direction of the residence. A Maine Public Safety dispatcher was on the phone with the woman and heard the gunshot in the background, police said on the Maine State Police Headquarters Facebook page.
Waterman was arrested and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and was taken to the York County Jail where bail was set at $500.
