TOPSHAM — Stantec’s office in Topsham recently added two new employees to its team.
Joining the staff are:
• Robert Roy, a certified wildlife biologist, has joined Stantec as a senior project manager. Roy will oversee a variety of projects characterizing, assessing and measuring the potential effects of wind, solar, hydro and other power projects on wildlife and natural communities.
Roy has 24 years of experience in the renewable energy and hydro industries, specializing in designing, implementing and managing pre- and post-construction natural resource impact assessments at wind and solar projects as well as technical evaluations of human activities on rare species.
• Ray Peck joins Stantec as a project technician. He is responsible for conducting bird and bat fatality monitoring, nocturnal radar migration and acoustic bat surveys. Peck obtained his bachelor of science degree in ecology and environmental sciences from the University of Maine in Orono.
Stantec’s Topsham practice employs more than 60 scientists, biologists, engineers and related environmental professionals.
