
She enjoyed doing crafts, fishing, hunting, traveling, rollerskating, and cooking. Sylvia especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
She worked for many years in salons as a beautician and cosmetologist.
Sylvia was predeceased by her parents, sisters, uncle, nephew, and a granddaughter.
Surviving her are her husband, David Hammond; a daughter, LeeAnn Kennedy; a son Edwin and Lori Russell Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Richard Dubois Jr. and Olivia Russell; her great aunt; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
Friends and family are welcome to visit on Saturday, August 20th, 2016 at Open Door Bible Church, 26 Gartley St. Lisbon from 11:30am to 12:30pm. A memorial service will be held at 12:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in memory of her granddaughter, and in honor of her grandson.
