A Cornish resident found a bone Wednesday he thought might be human remains, but that turned out not to be the case. According to York County Sheriff Bill King, Norton Street resident Michael Hunter called deputies because in October 2014, eight sets of human remains were uncovered during excavation work behind Cornish Town Hall, a short distance away. Deputies contacted the State Medical Examiner’s Office, which, based on photographs, determined that the bone was not human and was most likely from a cow.
