Maine sculptor William Janelle from Bridgton will be the guest artist at Elements, 265 Main St., Biddeford, Tuesday through August 28. This show will be a representation of unique hand-carved wood wall hangings with an ocean theme.
Janelle is a self-taught professional sculptor who works primarily in wood and stone. The artist’s style is a blend of realism and neo-classicalism. Janelle has been carving for more than 35 years, and more work can be seen at williamjanelle.com.
Elements is open Monday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday through Friday 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
