WISCASSET — St. Philip’s Church, 12 Hodge St., Wiscasset will hold three fish chowder suppers. The first night will be July 16 from 5:30-7 p.m. The second will be on July 30, and the final chowder supper will occur on Aug. 13.
The supper will continue to include a bowl of chowder (vegetable soup for the vegetarian or lactose intolerant, or hot dogs for those who prefer it), homemade breads, salad bar, choice of beverage, and a dessert table. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12.
A handmade quilt donated by award-winning quilter and St. Philip’s member Helene Gillhooley will be available for raffle. Chances are $1 each, or six for $5. Proceeds go to benefit the restoration of the church’s spire.
