He was born in Biddeford on Nov. 4, 1973, the son of Simeon and Patricia L. Belanger Bertrand. He was educated in Biddeford schools, and graduated from Biddeford High School.
Mr. Bertrand owned and operated Exterior Home Improvements for 18 years. He was a proud father of three beautiful children, and was happiest when spending time with his loved ones. He was best known for his humor and the ability to make anyone laugh.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia L. Bertrand, in 1998.
He is survived by: two daughters, Alyzabeth Bertrand of Rhode Island and Monika Bertrand of Rhode Island; one son, Thomas Bertrand of Biddeford; his father of Biddeford; one sister, Victoria Bertrand of Oklahoma; and two brothers, Paul Moreau and his wife Liz of Saco, and Shawn Moreau of Biddeford.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
