BRUNSWICK — The Bates College women’s track and field team won three events and finished third out of eight teams Saturday at Bowdoin’s annual Aloha Relays.
Bates won the 4 x 100-meter relay race with the second-fastest time in team history, 48.70 seconds, on the legs of sophomore Sally Ceesay, junior Allison Hill (Brunswick), junior Claire Markonic and senior captain Alexis Dickinson (Brunswick).
Hill finished second in the 100-meter dash with a finals time of 12.84 seconds. She moved into seventh place on Bates’ all-time performance list in the event with her preliminary time of 12.83 seconds.
Bates will compete at the NESCAC Championships on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. at Amherst College. The Bobcats placed fourth at the meet a year ago.
