SACO — Saco Middle School hosted a Wear Pink Wednesday to raise funds for three teachers who will be participating in Tri for a Cure. Students and staff supported the SMS Tri for a Cure team (Miss Demaria, Mrs. Constantine, and Mrs. Wirsing) by wearing pink in honor of Mark Murray and colleagues who are cancer survivors. Donations were collected ($1 suggested) on April 11 in the morning, and lavender ribbons were handed out (the color representing all cancer). The teachers met their fundraising goal.
