I used to like watch Fox News channel; that is, until Donald Trump threatened to boycott Fox if CEO Roger Ailes wasn’t nice to him. Afraid of losing television ratings, Mr. Ailes agreed.
I was pleased that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich told the truth on “Fox and Friends” morning show Feb. 22. He pointed out that, unlike other presidential candidates who depend on lobbyists for help, all Donald Trump has to do is call Fox News any time of day, and they will give him all the free television time he wants.
Fox isn’t “fair and balanced” with other candidates. Fox program hosts will fall on the sword for Trump. Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier are the only two adults on Fox News channel.
A reporter asked a woman after she had voted who she had voted for. She replied, “Donald Trump.” “Are you a Republican?” the reporter asked. “No,” she answered, “I’m a Democrat.” “Why did you vote for Trump?” “I want him to win so that in the general election, Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders can become our president.”
The death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia left the Court a person short. Trump said he supports Planned Parenthood. Elected, he would nominate a moderate justice who would support abortion and would take away our religious liberty.
Republicans who voted against Trump in the York County caucus: God bless you.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
