Ronald McDonald House charities and local folks will come together March 13 at Bowl-A-Rama to raise funds to support children and families they service.
Each member of teams of five is asked to raise $20 and will receive an event T-shirt. Organizers say 100 percent of proceeds go to support Ronald McDonald House programs. Pledge forms may be found at www.rmhcmaine.org.
There are Ronald McDonald House locations in Portland and Bangor, where families of ill folks may stay for a suggested donation of $10 a night. Last year, 7,687 nights were provided to 643 families..
