SACO — Rose A. Labarre, 81, of Saco, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 1, 2016, at her home.
She was born in Saco May 8, 1935, a daughter of Omer and Exilda (Gregoire) Blanchette. She was educated from Saco schools.
She was employed by Bruce Shoe in Biddeford for 19 years, and later worked for West Point Stevens in Biddeford for 22 years, retiring in 1998. During retirement, she enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and taking rides.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Leo P. Labarre, on Dec. 31, 2009; one brother, Paul; and one sister, Pauline.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
