The death of a man whose body was pulled from the Presumpscot River in Westbrook was an accidental drowning, according to the state Medical Examiner’s Office.

The body of Richard Goff, 44, of Westbrook was found Sunday morning in the river near the Sappi Mill during a search by the Maine Warden Service. Goff was reported missing Thursday when he failed to show up for an appointment.
