
She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 20, 1940, a daughter of David and Camille Eden.
Kathryn graduated with high honors from the University of Maine at Farmington and the University of Southern Maine, where she received her master’s degree.
Kate was employed as a teacher for Windham Junior High School and Bonny Eagle High School for many years. Her hobbies included baking, sewing and crafts. She was known for her handwork quilts and one-ofa kind dolls.
She was preceded in death by: two sisters, Pauline and Joyce.
She is survived by: one son, Richard Christman Jr.; one daughter, Gwendolyn E. Sylvestor; one sister, Lois Scarfo; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Kyle and Ricky Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
