
Trudy was born July 5, 1932, in Fall River, Massachusetts, the only child of Vernon and Eva Mantius. Trudy worked for the Bangor Daily News from 1970-82 in the library department. She retired from the Fall River Public Library in 1997.
Trudy was very active in union affairs, and was elected shop steward and secretary. She was a past president of the Emblem Club.
Surviving Trudy are: her daughter, Nancy Frost of Hendersonville, North Carolina; two sons, Mark Frost of Sanford and Gregory Andrews of Enola, Pennsylvania; and a granddaughter, Courtney Andrews of Enola, Pennsylvania.
