CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Authorities say one man has died in an apartment building fire in Concord.

The fire broke out early Friday morning on Rumford Street, killing 60-year-old Kevin Curdie. An autopsy showed he died from smoke inhalation.

The state fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause and said the fire appears to be accidental.

There were no working smoke detectors in the room where Curdie was found.

According to city records, the building had four apartments. District Chief Stacey Dubois said there were multiple tenants.
