BIDDEFORD — The National Able Network’s Senior Community Service Program has free, extra help for 501-C3 organizations or public agencies.

National Able Network has program participants waiting to work on special projects or to help with daily work, such as food preparation, administrative support, teaching assistance, maintenance and more.

The program provides organizations with 18 to 25 hours per week of assistance. National Able Network pays workers and provides them with workers compensation insurance. In return, the participating organization must train the workers.

A free informational meeting where National Able Network Maine State Director Dan Muth will explain the program will be held Nov. 18, 11 a.m. to noon at National Able Network Office, 5 Washington St., 3rd Floor, Suite 34, Biddeford. RSVP to Nadine Lewis at 385-2511 or email nlewis@nationalable.org.
