State Police are investigating a Friday morning car crash that shut down Route 35 in Hollis for the morning rush hour.

The single-vehicle crash was reported around 6:20 a.m. in the area of Tyler’s Corner, according to police.

The road was closed in both directions between Town Farm Road and Ember Lane while police cleared the scene, according to an alert from the Maine Department of Transportation. It has since re-opened to traffic
