Thirty-year-old Gang Deng Majok was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Monday and charged with murder and elevated aggravated assault in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Treyjon Arsenault, formerly of Westbrook, and the shooting of another man.

The shootings took place on May 25 at Da Block Studios, 371 Fore St. in Portland. Arsenault died from his injuries and the second victim is recovering from gunshot wounds.

Majok was arrested without incident at 14 Gooch St. in Saco by members of the U.S. Marshal’s Maine Violent Offender Task Force, Saco police, Biddeford police, and Maine Drug Enforcement Administration.

Majok is being held without bail at the Cumberland County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
