SOUTH PORTLAND — Maine Connections Academy’s Class of 2015 is the state’s first-ever virtual graduating class. Two of the graduates are from York County. They include: Serena B. Gorham, 17, of Lyman, who will attend Plymouth State University in the fall on a music talent scholarship and who plays saxophone, piano and guitar and hopes to become a music teacher; and Spencer W. Deissler, 17, of Lebanon, who plans to work full-time over the next year and enlist in the Air Force the following fall.
Four other students graduated from Maine Connections Academy.
