The Western Maine Conference recently announced its All-Conference teams for baseball and softball, and both teams feature local standouts from Kennebunk, Wells and Old Orchard Beach.

Kennebunk had two players named to the All-WMC first team for Class A/B in baseball, as Sam Heikkinen was named the first-team third baseman and Ben Lary was a first-team selection utility player. Wells’ Dan Quint joined Lary as a first-team utility player.

The Class A/B second team features Kennebunk’s Kip Richard at catcher and Erik Aiken as a utility player, while Wells’ Charlie Bell made the team as an outfielder.

On the Class C/D first team are OOB teammates Dylan Creswell and Evan O’Donnell. On the second team for the Seagulls are Matt Hurley and Thomas Fregeau.

The All-WMC Class A/B softball first team includes Kennebunk’s Meg Dube and Wells’ Maddie Taylor. Gabby Harrison from Kennebunk and Ali Duplisea from Wells were named to the second team.

The Class C/D softball first team includes Old Orchard Beach freshman Meagan Halle.

Wells’ Quint and Chandler Bridge were named to the baseball All-Academic team, while the softball All-Academic team includes Kennebunk’s Allison King, OOB’s Jessica Greenleaf and four Wells players: Duplisea, Taylor, Julianne Fitzpatrick and Lexi Haye.
