Girls in the “Girls On the Run” program at Mast Landing School in Freeport planted flowers at the entrance to Leon Gorman Park last Thursday, and collected $28 from bystanders to donate to the Coastal Humane Society. The Girls on the Run program teaches girls self-confidence, and provides them with life lessons. She is one of many artists who will be showing their art at St. Paul’s Church on Pleasant Street in Brunswick. Five Rivers Arts Alliance and the Brunswick Downtown Association sponsor the art walk.
