SOUTHERN MAINE – Visit Wood Island Lighthouse off Biddeford Pool this summer with tours provided by the Friends of Wood Island Lighthouse. The light station, which was established in 1808, is being meticulously restored by the friends group.

Weather permitting, tours are offered on Wednesday at 10 and 11 a.m.; Thursday at 5 and 6 p.m.; and Saturday 11 a.m. and noon.
