PARIS (AP) — Novak Djokovic’s French Open semifinal against Andy Murray was suspended in the fourth set because of rain.
The top-seeded Djokovic, bidding to complete a career Grand Slam, won the first two sets 6-3, 6-3 on Friday, before Murray took the third 7-5. Play was stopped at 3-all in the fourth, shortly before a storm began.
The match will resume Saturday.
The winner will meet Stan Wawrinka on Sunday. Wawrinka beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3, 6-7 (1), 7-6 (3), 6-4 earlier Friday.
