SANFORD — The Sanford girls lacrosse team got six goals from Maddie Leigh, but it wasn’t enough on Thursday as visiting Bonny Eagle picked up a 14-9 win.
Monica Trausch added the other three goals for the Spartans, who also got two assists from Liz Helmreich.
Eva Belanger made 11 stops for the Spartans, who drop to 2-2 on the season.
Nine different players scored for Bonny Eagle, which improved to 1-2 on the year.
