Private Paula Nicole Caron, a 2014 graduate of Lisbon High School, has graduated from U.S. Army Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Pvt. Caron is an Army reservist who completed the Motor Transport Operator Training and is currently assigned to the 619th Transportation Company in Auburn. She is the daughter of George and Lisa Caron of Lisbon Falls and has recently been working with students through programs at Lisbon High and Lisbon Community schools.

Courtney R. Martel, a 2014 graduate of Lisbon High School, completed basic Navy training at the Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, on Aug. 22, 2014, and the Quarter Master Class “A” school in November 2014. She is currently stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, aboard the Bath Iron Works-built Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Paul Hamilton. Martel is the daughter of Lisa and Robert Martel of Lisbon and Melony Martel of York.
