Patricia Lavaway of Westbrook and her son Lucien accept medals from retired Lt. Col. Peter Ogden honoring her uncles – Armand and Lucien Roy of Westbrook – who were both killed in action in World War II. A special ceremony was held last Saturday at the Maine Military Museum in South Portland, when 14 other families were similarly honored, as well.
