BRUNSWICK — Rep. Matthea Daughtry (DBrunswick) and Rep. Jay McCreight (D-Harpswell) will hold office hours together at the Wild Oats Bakery & Cafe on Maine Street in downtown Brunswick from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 21.
“Office hours are a great chance to hear from my constituents,” said Daughtry. “It’s an opportunity to let folks know what is going on in Augusta and find out what is on everyone’s minds.”
All office hours are open to the public.
“With so much going on at the State House right now — including a very complicated budget — feedback from the public is so important,” said McCreight. “There are a lot of tough decisions coming our way, and the more I hear from constituents, the better.”
Daughtry is serving her second term in the Maine House and represents part of Brunswick. McCreight is serving her first term and represents Harpswell, West Bath and part of Brunswick.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
