BRUNSWICK — There’s a new store on Maine Street in Brunswick and it’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced before.
Hatch on Maine LLC is Brunswick’s newest eclectic shop featuring affordable antiques, vintage finds, and unique gifts, many of which are made by local artisans.
“We see potential in items that others may view as junk. We clean, sand, paint … whatever we need to do … to turn trash into treasure,” Dustan Larsen, co-owner of Hatch on Maine, said in a news release.
Larsen and business partner, Hannah Beattie, have been operating Hatch on Orr’s Island for the past three summers. Hatch has been so successful, the two decided to branch out and start their new venture on Maine Street.
“We have a very loyal customer base,” said Larsen. “They have encouraged us to live our dream. We feel very fortunate for the support of our ‘Hatch community.’”
“Our goal is to bring a great product at the lowest price possible,” said co-owner Beattie. “We scour the market to find the best deals so that we can offer amazing finds at extremely fair prices.”
Whether you are in the market for a vintage iron bed or shore-inspired art, check out Hatch on Maine. You just might find what you’re looking for.
