SOUTH PARIS — Marissa Parks and Sara Graves put up 12 points each for the Morse High School girls freshmen basketball team in recent action. However, Erskine Academy held the edge in scoring throughout the entire game, eventually ending up with a final score of 41-35.
The Eagles opened up with a 10-4 lead and grasped on to an 18-15 advantage heading into the half. After three full frames the Shipbuilders trailed by nine before bringing the game to a six-point differential.
Bailey Cloutier led the floor for the Eagles, dropping 18 points on the night with teammate Ashlyn Cook collecting eight. Erskine Academy was 12-for-21 at the line, while Morse sunk 5-of- 18. The Shipbuilders fall to 2- 2 on the season.
