BIDDEFORD — Falmouth kept its undefeated start intact on Monday night, as the Yachtsmen won their eighth game of the season with an 8-0 victory over host Thornton Academy in a Western Class A boys hockey game at Biddeford Ice Arena.
Falmouth (8-0) jumped on top early with four goals in the first period, then netted two apiece in the second and third.
Isac Nordstrom tallied three goals and three assists, while Brandon Peters also scored a hat trick and Jake Grade and Jack Mainella each added a goal.
The Yachtsmen outshot the Trojans (1-5) 45-3. Andrew Huot stopped 37 shots for TA.
