SKIDDER, a Shire horse, and Lilly, a Shire and Percheron mix, load up for the final wagon ride Wednesday night before the fireworks at Topsham Fairgrounds where the town’s final 250th anniversary concluded with the New Year’s Eve celebration. The horses are from Hideaway Farm in Topsham and were joined by Belgian Quarter Horses Evey and Sissy, who pulled a second wagon.
