LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska defensive end Randy Gregory has announced he’s enter the NFL draft.
Gregory was a first-team All- Big Ten pick as a junior after leading the Cornhuskers with seven sacks. He was fourth on the team with 54 tackles, including 10 for losses even though he missed two games and was limited in two others because of injuries. He also blocked two kicks.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pound Gregory finished his two-year Nebraska career with 17.5 sacks after transferring from Arizona Western Community College.
“I chose the University of Nebraska because of the rich tradition, the great academics and sense of family I felt when I stepped onto the campus. It has been everything and more for me and I’m thankful to the Nebraska faithful,” Gregory said in a statement through his representative, Destined for Success Management.
