PORTLAND — Brandon Paul made a driving layup with six seconds left to lift the visiting Canton Charge to a 95-96 victory over the Maine Red Claws at the Portland Expo on Sunday.
Tim Frazier missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the Red Claws, who saw their eight-game winning streak snapped.
James Young scored 15 points for the Red Claws after being sent down by the Boston Celtics earlier in the day. Chris Babb scored a team-high 16 points for Maine, while Frazier added 15.
Stephen Holt scored a game-high 23 points for Canton, while Paul finished with 20.
