SACO (AP) — Police are investigating an early morning home invasion in Saco in which two people were shot and injured.
WGME-TV reports the home invasion happened at 2:45 a.m. Thursday. Police Chief Brad Paul says a man and woman were shot and are being treated at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Paul says one other person was in the home at the time of the shooting and was not injured.
Paul declined to comment on a suspect in the shooting but did say the public is not at risk.
The Maine State Police Crime Lab van and other police are on the scene.
