ARUNDEL — None of the residents were hurt when a car crashed into a home shortly after midnight.
Upon arrival at the crash site, at 198 Log Cabin Road, York County Sheriff Dep. Duane Fay found a 2006 Ford four-door sedan crashed into the single-family residence.
The operator of the vehicle, Sarah Sullivan, 23, of Saco, was traveling north on Log Cabin Road and lost control of the vehicle near the Seashore Trolley Museum, according to Chief Dep. William King.
The Ford left the roadway, went through a split rail fence and struck the home, causing an estimated $3,500 damage.
Sullivan suffered minor facial injuries and was transported to Southern Maine Health Center in Biddeford by Arundel Rescue. Her vehicle sustained an estimated $4,000 damage.
After being discharged from the hospital, Sullivan was arrested for operating under the influence and taken to York County Jail in Alfred where she was held on $500 bail.
