Help shape Main Street
Residents and business owners are urged to participate in a public workshop at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, about updating the Main Street master plan.

‘Peter Pan’ on Gorham stage
Gorham’s Community Theater presents “The Adventures of Peter Pan” with performances at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, and 1 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Gorham Middle School Auditorium on Weeks Road.

Holiday classic dancers
Seven dancers from Gorham will perform in Maine State Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker” that will bring the beauty and joy of the season to Portland’s Merrill Auditorium with performances Saturday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 7.
The Gorham dancers are Estelle Ballard, Annmarie Dellasala, Angela Mia Dellasala, Arie Eiten, Kate Larkin, Monica Willey and Hailee Willey.
Performances of “The Nutcracker” will be held Saturday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m.; Friday Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.; Saturday Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m.

Students earn environmental honors
Two students from Gorham were inducted into the University of Southern Maine’s chapter of Kappa Alpha Omicron in on Oct. 29 ceremony in the Glickman Family Library on the Portland campus.
The Gorham students were Elizabeth Henderson, environmental science major, and Sarah Henderson, environmental science major. They were among 13 students inducted based on their academic achievement in a ceremony attended by faculty, families, and friends.
Kappa Alpha Omicron is the international honor society in interdisciplinary environmental science and studies. USM has the only chapter of Kappa Alpha Omicron in northern New England.
