Mullins serves with Assemblies of God World Missions, and is a licensed minister as well. As a child she was introduced to a missionary who visited her home church. From that time, she knew this would be her life’s work — sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ on foreign soil.
She pursued her dream by taking five short-term mission trips during high school. She spent 2 1/2 years after graduation in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She returned home to complete her associate’s degree in early childhood education and earned a bachelor’s degree a in children and family ministries.
“Missionary Mullins has a passion to heal broken hearts,” states a news release from the church. “This is an opportunity to show our support for those in need.”
Nursery care will be provided during the service. For more information, call 443- 1300.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
