Maine author Russell Warnberg will be discussing his series of mystery novels at Walker Memorial Library in Westbrook on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The series, which follows Detective Cole Sullivan of the Maine Homicide Investigation Unit, began with “Edge of Redemption,” and was followed by “The Chalk Line Killer.” The third in the series, “Gateway Murders,” has yet to be released.

According to his website, Warnberg is also a teacher, an artist and a woodworker who grew up in Minnesota. After joining the Navy, he has spent most of his life in Maine.

Warnberg will be at Walker Memorial Library from 6 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, an appearance that library staff have called “a great event for any mystery fiction lover.”
