SOUTH PORTLAND — Marianne Robinson has been named to the staff of the Hobbs Funeral Homes as office manager and administrative specialist.

Robinson is responsible for the day-to-day financial records, updating necessary data, direct contact with the public, document streamlining and organizing, and will also work to refine office procedures.

Previously, Robinson worked as office manager and move coordinator for 25 years at Earle W. Noyes & Sons with overall management responsibilities for the sales office and staff. Among her duties was being directly involved in customer service. She also worked as office manager with Olsten Temporary Services. She has previous experience as a retail department manager and a receptionist.

Educated at Westbrook and Scarborough high schools, Robinson lives in Scarborough with her husband. They have two grown children.
