PORTLAND — The Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce and Maine Health Access Foundation are hosting a morning breakfast forum Thursday, Oct. 9, 7-9:15 a.m., focused on Maine small businesses and the Affordable Care Act, entitled, “What are the options to cover my employees in 2015?”
This forum is specifically designed for small businesses with 50 or fewer employees. Expert speakers will discuss what small business owners need to know about the Affordable Care Act and present information about the plans available through the Small Business Health Options Program Marketplace for 2015 coverage. Attendees will learn about the new health plans, tax credits and more at this free small business health insurance forum.
Speakers will include: Mitchell Stein of Health Policy Consulting, Roger Prince, a CPA at BerryDunn, Eric Jermyn of Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Rob Hillman of Maine Community Health Options, Ed Kane of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Brian Staples of Northeast Delta Dental and Dr. Wendy Wolf of Maine Health Access Foundation, who will serve as moderator.
The forum is being held at the Holiday Inn by the Bay, 88 Spring St. in Portland.
