PARSONSFIELD — A 66-year-old local man is dead following a mishap with his farm tractor around noon Wednesday.
John David, of 121 Collins Road, had been pulling a stump from the ground with his International farm tractor, and the tractor tipped over, pinning David underneath. David was declared dead at the scene, said York County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Bill King.
Sheriff’s deputies and Sacopee Valley Rescue units were called to the property around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
