BOSTON (AP) — A Boston man who forced a woman into prostitution, transporting her across state lines for sale, has been sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison.
Darrell Graham was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Boston after being found guilty of three counts of interstate transportation for the purposes of prostitution.
Prosecutors say the 52-year-old career criminal met the homeless woman on the streets of Cambridge when she was 19, and told her he was a talent scout.
Graham then took her ID and told her that if she ever left him he knew people who would find her.
