KENNEBUNK— President and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States, Wayne Pacelle, will be in Maine this week to support proponents of “Yes on 1” on the November ballot.
From 7:30-9 p.m. tonight, Pacelle will be at the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk to meet with voters and answers questions.
A “yes” vote on Question 1 would stop the bear hunting methods of trapping, hounding and baiting.
