The Maine Technology Users Group is hosting its first after-hours event, “Peers and Beers: featuring the VGo Robot” ”“ a chance for the IT community to network in an informal setting.
The Portland event is co-sponsored by GWI, and will be on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Rivalries, 10 Cotton St., Portland. A sister event is planned for Bangor at Seasons on Main Street on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Both events will feature a brief presentation, “The VGo robot and telepresence innovation,” and will also highlight MTUG’s upcoming season of online educational webinars on business technology topics.
