Brunswick schools have announced that registration packets for new students may be picked up at the school Monday-Friday.
The high school is open from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and parents call the guidance office at 319-1912 to schedule an appointment.
The junior high is open from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and parents should call the counseling office at 319-1932 to arrange for an appointment.
The first full day of school for all students will be Sept. 3, and BHS will follow an Orange Day schedule.
Parents of elementary school children should call their assigned school to register a new student. Call Coffin School (319-1950) for Grades K-1 or Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School (319-1960) for Grades 2-5.
Kindergarten screening will be Tuesday, Sept. 2, for those who missed the May screening. On Wednesday, Sept. 3, no kindergarten students will attend. Officials will be assigning class placements for those who missed the May screening. Thursday, Sept. 4, will be Family Day for Kindergarten. Students assigned to the following teachers —
Caron, Sapp, Stinson, Rickards and Strait — attend from 9:30-10:30 a.m. that day. Those assigned to Burgess, Hunt, Jordan, Lucas and Thomas attend from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Parents or a designee attends with the child and rides the bus if assigned. Friday, Sept. 5, will be a short day, with dismissal at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, begins regular school hours from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
